About shoulder injuries

Shoulder injuries are common in sports which require overarm action, such as swimming, playing tennis, throwing a javelin and above shoulder weight training. They can also be caused by a sudden trauma such as a car accident, a slip or a fall.  Vibration syndromes such as vibration white finger could also lead to shoulder injuries.

Frozen shoulder is a condition which develops gradually and, although it may not cause a great deal of pain, it restricts the movement of the shoulder.  Other injuries include tendonitis, an inflammation of the tendon and dislocation.
