The company, who ironically had released a company newsletter focusing on health and safety at work only a year earlier, pleaded guilty in a County Court to charges of failing to maintain safe work systems and failing to provide information and training to employees.
A lawyer for the manufacturing firm said, "The company recognises that it should have and could have done more."
