One of the many cases our team of mesothelioma specialists have handled was that of a dock worker who, back in the late 1970s, had been responsible for stripping out old ships that were due to be scrapped. Whilst carrying out this work he was frequently exposed to asbestos dust but, unaware of the dangers of the substance, had not worn any protective clothing.

Twenty five years later and the father of three teenage children, Mr Harrison began to suffer breathing difficulties and was diagnosed with mesothelioma.
