no win no fee solicitors, medical negligenceIf you or a relative have found yourself in a situation like this, YouClaim are here to help. We're the personal injury compensation claim experts and we can help you make a no win, no fee claim for damages.

Over the years we've helped people from all across the country to make medical negligence claims and every single one of them has kept 100% of any compensation that's been awarded.

Below are just a few of those who our panel of experienced no win, no fee solicitors have helped after they've found themselves in need as a result of being let down by medical staff.

Mr L from Glasgow
43-year-old Mr L is a self-employed plasterer from Glasgow who injured his arm playing five-a-side football in the evening. A friend took him to the local A&E department where a nurse examined his arm and concluded that it was just badly bruised. She gave him some painkillers and ordered him to have a day or two off work but insisted that the arm wasn't broken.

Four days later, Mr L was in agony and so returned to hospital where medical staff again checked out his arm; once more he was told that it was simply bruised and so was sent home. Another three days passed and the pain had got dramatically worse and so he decided to go back to the hospital.

This time an X-ray was taken and it was discovered that the arm was actually broken. With more than a week since the injury was first sustained, the broken bones had already started to fuse incorrectly and so the arm had to be re-broken and set correctly.

Of course, this caused Mr L huge pain and meant he was off work for even longer than he would have been if the hospital staff hadn't committed medical negligence and had examined his arm properly in the first place.

He decided to make a personal injury compensation claim against the hospital and contacted YouClaim to help him do it on a no win, no fee basis. Because they knew they were in the wrong and because they wanted to avoid the negative publicity and a costly court case, hospital bosses admitted responsibility for the error and agreed to pay Mr L medical negligence compensation of almost £10,000.

The entire sum was his to keep and neither we nor the personal injury solicitor that we arranged to help Mr L took a cut of the money. As a result of the compensation claim, hospital bosses also implemented a review and put changes in place to ensure that a similar incident didn't happen again.

Mrs R from Edinburgh
Mrs R called YouClaim on 0800 10 757 95 to make a no win, no fee claim following a particularly nasty case of medical negligence that left her extremely distressed.

The 56-year-old Edinburgh woman was admitted to hospital to have a hysterectomy and was kept in for three days to recover before being sent home. Whilst recuperating at home, the aches resulting from the operation did not clear up and she also experienced unexpected regular sharp pains.

She went to see her GP and he referred her back to the hospital where the operation had taken place. Despite further examinations, it was unclear what the problem was and so an X-ray was taken. What was then discovered by the doctors was truly horrific.

The X-ray clearly showed that a surgical instrument was present inside Mrs R's body and must have been left there during the hysterectomy operation. Another operation was required to remove it and it was then discovered that the rogue instrument had caused some quite extensive damage to her insides.

This whole series of events distressed Mrs R enormously and she went through much unnecessary pain because of a surgeon's carelessness. She was also forced to take extra time off work to recover from the additional operation and the damage caused by the instrument meant that she had to make further trips to hospital.

Not surprisingly, Mrs R was upset and angry by the experience and decided to make a medical negligence claim for personal injury compensation. She contacted YouClaim and our panel of expert no win, no fee solicitors helped her pursue a medical negligence claim.

She was awarded almost £20,000 and, thanks to YouClaim, was able to keep the entire amount for herself.
