Doctors told the family that the injured man would never talk again, but since he returned home in May he has spoken twice.
The brave wife said, "It was a stressful and exhausting battle but when we finally got home, I felt such an overwhelming sense of happiness. We're both so much more relaxed now we're at home. It's the happiest I've seen him since the accident."
