Medical negligence
Medical negligence claims rely on a great deal of in-depth, complicated evidence that can only be provided
by specialist medical experts. Gathering this evidence can prove extremely costly and it is therefore
important that there are very solid grounds for bringing a medical negligence case against a health

In order for them to do this, they will need to see medical notes and hospital records that are relevant to the treatment you received.
If, at this point, your claim looks like it may well be successful, our solicitor is likely to request a medical
specialist to prepare a report detailing your injury and the treatment you received.
Medical notes and a specialist's report generally cost a total of around 350.00. If the person against
whom you wish to make your claim accepts liability for the medical negligence that occurred, they may well
provide an interim payment to cover these costs.
