Organisations such as the Solicitors Regulation Authority are charged with setting, promoting and ensuring that "the public interest, standards of behaviour and professional performance necessary to ensure that clients receive a good service and that the rule of law is upheld".
Similarly, the Legal Complaints Service exists to ensure that dissatisfied legal service clients, such as those who have unfairly been denied 100% compensation, have access to a process of potential redress.
