Personal injury for 12 in steamer crash

Twelve passengers on the world's only sea-going paddle steamer suffered personal injury last week as the boat crashed into the pier at Dunoon.

The Scottish accident claimed no lives, with the remainder of the 700 passengers on the Waverley suffering only minor injury, and the 12 hurt passengers were treated by a doctor.

One eyewitness to the passenger injury incident said that people were thrown off their feet by the force of the crash, with one of the twelve suffering concussion and being forced to leave the boat in a wheelchair.

No news has been issued regarding the intention of those who suffered personal injury on the steamer to appoint a no win, no fee lawyer for a compensation claim.
