Personal injury lawyers' animated adverts

A firm of personal injury lawyers in America has released a comedic advert after learning that most people in the street were largely unaware of what their legal work involved.

These interviews not only found that the average person did not know what this particular personal injury law firm did, but what personal injury law firms in general did and how to find one should they need to.

The no win, no fee firm therefore set up an advert brief with an animation studio, who produced a set of commercials that show potential sources of personal injury that include alien abduction, banana skins and super-rubbery bubble gum.

The UFO piece, the flagship ad, shows a car accident in which a car parked at a beauty spot is grabbed in a tractor beam, bashed on the road, spun around and finally cast aside as if by a bored child, leaving the boot and bonnet to burst open and the car alarm sound; the personal injury sustained would, one imagines, be noticeable, but knowing who to file the compensation claim against would prove awkward.

A partner in the personal injury lawyer firm acknowledged that this may be a risk, but said "This is an innovative way to express a serious message."

"It's great to get away from talking heads."

100% compensation firms in the UK may find that their adverts need to change if this approach proves successful.
