A man from New Delhi, India is reported to be making a personal injury claim against a major multi-national corporation as their male grooming products have failed to make him attractive to women.
The man said that he followed all the product guidelines for storage and usage but had never experienced the advertised "Axe effect".
The 26-year-old said, "I've been waiting for it for over seven years. Right from my college to now in my office, no girl ever agreed to even go out for a tea or coffee with me, even though I'm sure they could smell my perfumes, deodorants and aftershaves. I always applied them in abundance to make sure the girls get turned on as they show in the television."
His product liability case will see him argue that he has suffered mental suffering and public humiliation, and he is suing for compensation to recompense him for his emotional agony.
An advocate in Karkardooma court has offered to represent him in his compensation claim litigation and has served a legal notice in this regard with the product manufacturer.
Representatives of the corporation have declined to comment on the personal injury claim as the case is ongoing.
