Northampton man in crash claim

A 40-year-old man has launched a passenger injury claim for a car accident in which he suffered traumatic spinal injuries, leading to him becoming paralysed from the waist down.

The Northampton resident was a front seat passenger in a car being driven by his friend when the friend drove through a vehicle and smashed into a parked car.

The passenger injury claim outlines how the man has suffered both significant loss of enjoy and loss of capacity as a result of his injuries. He has lost his sexual function, has urinary problems and relies on medication to help him through the ongoing and considerable pain.

Furthermore, he used to be a keen amateur sportsman, but is now longer unable to participate in the sports he loves: rugby, football and golf.

His no win, no fee solicitor alleges that the driver was negligent on a number of counts, including failing to give way, failing to keep a proper lookout, driving too fast and failing to slow down.

Although the man is seeking £300,000 in his passenger injury claim, he is also reserving the right to seek further damages in the event that he develops a cyst on his spine, which would lead to further problems.

Can I claim?
