Manchester no win, no fee solicitor joins 'hall of fame'
The senior lawyer at a no win, no fee solicitor firm in Manchester has been inducted into the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers as a Senior Fellow. She is only the eleventh person in the country to receive this honour, and the first in the North West.
Her firm, Hilary Meredith Solicitors, is a specialist panel firm acting for YouClaim clients. It is a firm that is best known for its work with military compensation claims, where a traumatic personal injury or even a fatality has occurred through negligence on the part of the claimant's superiors. However, it is not restricted to these cases, nor to the no win, no fee payment structure in every case.
An APIL spokesperson praised her "dedication and commitment that was beyond the call of duty", drawing attention to a 20-year career claiming against the Ministry of Defence for thousands of compensation claims arising from recent military engagements.
Over the last year, her firm has reclaimed over £6.4 million for her personal injury clients.
