Harrow motorbike crash figures released

New statistics show that the number of people suffering personal injury in motorcycle accidents in the London Borough of Harrow has risen by 50%.

In 2008 there were 32 more reported serious motorcycle accident personal injuries than in the previous year.

Despite this, there was some good news for Harrow: no one suffered fatal injury in a motorbike crash in the borough during 2007 or 2008 and the rate of motorcycle accident personal injuries is much lower than in most other London boroughs.

The road traffic accident figures were released by the Metropolitan Police.
