A Cambridgeshire man is set to receive bus accident compensation following crash injuries he sustained while on holiday in Bulgaria.
He is just one of 24 British holidaymakers who will receive bus accident compensation following a ruling at Birmingham County Court, which concluded that the incident had been caused by driver error.
The no win, no fee lawyer representing the holidaymakers commented, "I am extremely pleased that the Judge, His Honour Judge Robert Owen QC, found in favour of our clients.
"Too many Britons suffer serious injury on foreign roads each year. More, clearly needs to be done now to reduce the risk of accidents involving coaches."
The Cambridgeshire man, who is now set to receive around £3,000 bus accident compensation for his passenger injuries, spoke of the traumas of the crash, saying, "The first I knew something was wrong was when I looked out of the front window and saw a sign coming towards us. I thought we were going to hit it but the coach slid across the road and down a bank. I was stunned and couldn't talk. It all happened so quickly and was a very frightening experience."
