Claiming benefits for industrial deafness
If you have sustained some degree of industrial deafness, you may be able to get Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit through Jobcentre Plus. This benefit is available to people who have worked for more than 10 years in a line of work known to frequently result in industrial deafness.
However, you may also be eligible for Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit if you worked in close proximity to someone that was doing work that can lead to industrial deafness.
Claiming Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit
Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit is also available to those who have an asbestos-related disease,
asthma, chronic bronchitis, pneumoconiosis, tenosynovitis or vibration white finger, although other
