Get compensation - make a personal injury claim

We help people who have been injured through no fault of their own to get compensation by making a personal injury claim. The amount of compensation to which they are entitled is something that all our customers wish to know at the beginning of their personal injury claim.

Compensation amounts
We cannot give an exact figure of how much compensation our customers should expect because every case varies as to the seriousness of the injury and the impact it has had on our customer’s life. However, here is a list of estimated personal injury claim settlements for some of the more common injuries:

  • whiplash injury: up to £3,500 for a good recovery, up to £13,000 for permanent symptoms
  • head injury: up to £6,000 for minor injuries and no brain damage, up to £21,000 for brain damage with good recovery
  • leg injury: up to £4,000 for a simple fracture, up to £21,000 for a severe fracture

These figures are known as general damages; that is, compensation awarded for the pain and suffering someone has experienced. You can also get special damages when you make a personal injury claim.

The term “special damages” refers to the costs and losses incurred by your accident and injury. Your personal injury claim could include a request for recompense for prescription and treatment costs, transport costs, loss of earnings, the cost of replacing possessions damaged in the accident, and the cost of special equipment, if applicable.
