Four railway engineers could make no win, no fee compensation claims after two trains collided whilst they replaced sleepers on a track.
Two trains were reported to have collided at Badminton near South Gloucestershire, causing minor personal injuries to four workmen.
The train accident occurred on the main line between Swindon and Bristol as the engineers replaced sleepers and gravel beneath the tracks on the 31st October.
Fortunately, the line was closed to all passenger trains and so no commuters were involved in the crash.
Network Rail spokeswoman, Becky Johnson, said, "It was a slow speed collision, with minor injuries to four rail staff. Two have since been released from hospital.
"A full investigation is underway."
Each of the four engineers involved in the work accident may consider making a no win, no fee compensation claim in the future for their personal injuries sustained in the crash.
